Certificates & Rewards
We assess each child during every swimming lesson, so there’s no waiting around in the wrong level. As soon as your child has acquired the skills of their current level they will be moved up.
We also have dedicated assessment days during the Term and update your child’s record so we know exactly what skills they need to complete to progress to the next level.
Once your child has completed a level they will be awarded a certificate and will be moved up to the next level.
Your child’s level and all their progress information is available for you to view on our Customer Portal. Contact hello@aquastarswim.com.au for your login details.
Hear From Our Happy Customers
If you're looking for the best swim school Berwick has to offer, we've been sending our kids here for years. They've made loads of friends and love going squad training and to swim meets and comps. Actually, Aquastar Swim School Berwick is the best swim school in Melbourne hands down!
My 3 children have all loved attending Keysborough. Their love of swimming has increased and 1 has added extra classes to her timetable and another is frequently requesting more swimming classes per week.
Swim teachers here are fantastic - supportive, patient and consistent. Well priced classes with make up options.
My son is learning to swim at Aquastar Brighton. The coaches are always professional with patience and encouragement! The manager is really helpful and supportive. Very happy to keep learning here. And the water is quite warm in winter. It's highly recommended.
Living in a country surrounded by water, we Australians need to know how to swim. It’s not just about making the most of our beautiful beaches; swimming is a life skill that has important safety, health, and wellbeing benefits.
When it comes to our children, learning how to swim is a skill that is best taught sooner rather than later. Kids can begin to acquire basic water safety skills as infants, providing them with the foundation they need to become strong swimmers early on and thereby helping to keep them safe around water.
Not only is learning to swim about safety – it also opens doors. Children who are competent and confident in the pool are able to say ‘yes’ to many different opportunities that come their way, from pool parties to school surf camp and a wide range of recreational activities. Not only does this deliver a host of social benefits and improved self-esteem, but it also helps to set your child up for a healthy, active life. Children who engage in physical activity from an early age are more likely to build healthy habits that stay with them into adulthood. It’s no secret that swimming delivers a host of physical and mental health benefits, no matter your age.
At Aquastar Swims Schools, we offer swimming lessons in Melbourne to suit all ages and abilities. Our established and trusted Learn To Swim program incorporates 14 levels, starting with classes for Infants as young as 6 months of age.
Beyond our Infant program, we offer Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Squad levels that are based on ability rather than age, ensuring your child is in a program that allows them to acquire the skills they need, at their own pace. Before your child is placed in a class, we undertake a quick assessment to ensure they are assigned to the correct level.
With small class ratios and expert teachers, you can rest assured your child will receive the attention and guidance they need to effectively develop their skills. For children who are looking to extend themselves in the pool, our Squad program provides an excellent stepping stone from learning to swim, to training for competition.
While swimming is a skill best learnt from a young age, it’s also never too later to start. Learning to swim as an adult can be daunting and even a little intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. Aquastar Swim Schools offers an Adults Program for those who want to acquire this invaluable life skill. With friendly and supportive swim teachers in your corner, getting started in the pool is as simple as booking a lesson. It’s never too late to dive in!
With swim schools in multiple locations across Melbourne, including Berwick, Brighton, Keysborough, Moorabbin and St Kilda, there is sure to be an Aquastar Swim Schools centre near year. In addition to our regular swimming lessons, we also offer a Holiday Intensive program for kids who want to fast-track their swimming development, and a School Swimming program for schools who wish to incorporate swimming into their curriculum.
